The DG has a long career working with both government and Non-Governmental Organizations mainly in project management and coordination roles.
His past positions include working as Project Manager for UNICEF, Training Officer for NORAD, Self Reliance Manager for IRC and UNHCR, District Project Coordinator for the World Bank-funded ALRMP in then Turkana District, Coordinator for the National Drought Management Authority (NDMA).
The DG later worked as Implementation Coordinator for the second phase of the ALRMP which was based in 28 counties.
Before he was picked to deputise Governor Josphat Nanok in his second term, the DG was the Government and Public Affairs Advisor for oil company Tullow PLC where he served from 2014-2016.
