The Ministry of health has acquired three land cruiser units from Toyota Kenya. The vehicles are expected to be flagged off 12th April 2019 at the MoH headquarters by the senior management team led by the CECM Hon. Jane Ajele and the health chief officer Dr. Roberts Abok. County transport officer and the chief mechanical engineer joined ministry officials during inspection to ensure conformity of the units with the required specifications. The vehicles are expected to enhance service delivery at the sub county level and make a contribution towards improving the (Reproductive Maternal Neo-natal Child Adolescents Health) indicators in hard to reach areas. The vehicles will also help to fast track health, nutrition and sanitation response interventions during the current drought and help alleviate suffering.
