The airstrip will be relocated to an agreed place with the community.

The issue of integration in the spatial planning of Kakuma town to include refugee camps is already underway. This will help in the future development planning of the town and its expansion.

Governor Nanok,UNCHR representative and Turkana West Deputy County Commissioner agreed this will  also give a roadmap on how the town  should  be in future and  its development needs to be put  in  place.

This was during a meeting between the Turkana County Government, the Refugee Agency and other stakeholders in Kakuma, Turkana West Sub County.
